Thoresby Hall

Thoresby Hall is 35 minutes North of Nottingham and is set on a slope overlooking a stunning Capability Brown view on the edge of the ancient and spellbinding forest.

Day 1 We travel to our hotel.

Day 2 Discover the charm of the Peak District with our delightful day trip to Bakewell and Buxton. As we venture through the picturesque landscapes, you'll have the chance to explore Bakewell.  Don't forget to try the famous Bakewell pudding! Later, we'll whisk you away to the enchanting town of Buxton, known for its elegant architecture and natural thermal springs. Visit the Buxton Opera House or simply relax in the tranquil Pavilion Gardens.

Day 3 A later departure this morning to depart on our 3 hour cruise on the River Trent. Whilst enjoying a delicious light lunch. We take in the views of the historic city between Holme Pierrepont and Wilford Church. 

Day 4 Today is at leisure for you to enjoy the facilities at the hotel or to explore the local area by foot.

Day 5 Homeward bound.
