Skip to content Experience the true atmosphere of bustling East End stalls with a trip to Columbia Road Flower Market. On Sundays, the street is transformed into an oasis of foliage and flowers. Everything from bedding plants to 10 inch banana plants. The air is intense with the scent of flowers and the chant of the barrow boys. It is one of the few streets in the country comprising of sixty independent shops, vintage clothes stores, English and Italian delis, garden and antique shops. There is also a wealth of pubs, cafes and restaurants. In the afternoon we have free time in Covent Garden before making our way back home.
