Skip to content Our first visit today is to the family home of Sir Winston Churchill. Chartwell near Westerham in Kent provides an insight into the domestic life of the famous wartime Prime Minister. Many of the rooms within the house remain untouched from that time so are complete with daily newspaper and trademark cigars. In the afternoon we make the short journey to Emmets Gardens an Edwardian Hillside Garden offering panoramic views across the unspoilt Kent Weald. Laid in the late 19th Century the gardens contain many rare shrubs and plants from across the world. Price includes entrance.
