Thoresby Hall, Warners

Thoresby Hall is 35 minutes North of Nottingham and is set on a slope overlooking a stunning Capability Brown view on the edge of the ancient and spellbinding forest.

 

Day 1 We travel to our hotel.

 

Day 2 This morning we travel back in time at Crich Tramway Village, home to the National Tramway Museum. You can enjoy unlimited rides on the world-renowned trams through the lovingly restored period village. The afternoon is free to enjoy Thoresby.

 

Day 3 We spend the day exploring the city of Lincoln, with free time to visit the many interesting shops or visit the magnificent cathedral, one of Europe’s finest Gothic buildings (entry not included). Wander along the cobbled streets and take in the spectacular sights this wonderful city has to offer.

 

Day 4 We visit the Peak District National Park and Chatsworth House, home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. Visit the house with many wonderful works of art, the chapel, the farm (additional fee payable on site for the farm) and the gardens with rare trees, temples, sculpture, fountains, streams and ponds.

 

Day 5 Homeward bound.
